ABOUT MOHONA

Nilima Hasan Mohona, a 22-year-old visionary and passionate young woman, is a shining example of intelligence, grace, and determination. Hailing originally from Jamalpur but raised in Gazipur due to her parents' professional responsibilities, Mohona grew up with a deep sense of discipline, purpose, and cultural grounding.

In 2023, her pageantry journey began when she earned the prestigious title of Miss Ocean World Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Tourism Beauty Organization. This milestone not only opened new doors for her but also became the foundation for her identity as a confident representative of Bangladeshi youth on national and international stages.

Academically, she is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering — a field of Computer Science and Engineering.where critical thinking and problem-solving meet her natural curiosity and ambition. Balancing the technical world with creativity, she is admired for her ability to thrive in diverse roles while staying focused on her academic goals.

Beyond academics and pageantry, Mohona is actively involved in various youth-led and social development organizations. She has served as a campus ambassador, youth speaker, volunteer , leader, and workshop organizer across platforms that promote education, mental health, women empowerment, leadership, and social justice. Her dedication to community upliftment and her ability to connect with others with empathy and authenticity make her a respected youth icon.

She is known for her strong character, leadership abilities, humility, and powerful communication skills. With a natural presence both on stage and in real-life spaces, Mohona inspires others through her actions, her voice, and her unwavering commitment to growth and impact.

In 2025, Nilima Hasan Mohona proudly represented Bangladesh at the Miss Peace International pageant  and made history by becoming the first ever Winner among  40 global contestants. Her elegance, intellect, and powerful message stood out, making her a symbol of pride for the entire nation.

Alongside winning the crown, she was also honored with two prestigious awards:

🏆 Miss Photogenic – celebrating her natural charisma, camera presence, and effortless grace,

🏆 Best Talent Award – recognizing her exceptional performance that displayed creativity, confidence, and cultural expression on the international stage.

Today, as Miss Peace International 2025, Nilima Hasan Mohona continues to raise the flag of Bangladesh with pride. She remains committed to creating positive change, empowering youth, and being a global ambassador of peace, purpose, and possibility.
